Nikolic to visit Greece, Republic of Macedonia

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on a two-day working visit to Greece and the Republic of Macedonia on September 15-16 to attend the centenary commemorations of the WWI Battle of Kajmakcalan.

On the first day of the visit, Nikolic will pay a tribute to Serbian soldiers buried at the Zeitenlik WWI Allied military cemetery in Thessaloniki.

He will also meet with Apostolos Tzitzikostas, governor of the Greek region of Central Macedonia.

On the second day of the visit, Nikolic will take part in a ceremony marking the centenary of the Battle of Kajmakcalan.

He will then travel to Bitola for a meeting with the President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, after which the two presidents will also speak to reporters.

Nikolic will also lay a wreath at a memorial ossuary inside the Serbian military cemetery in Bitola....
