Air Serbia re-establishes direct flights to Tel Aviv

BELGRADE - After a hiatus of more than three years, Air Serbia re-established direct flights between Belgrade and Tel Aviv on Thursday.

The national airline will be operating flights to Tel Aviv on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and four times a week from May 8, when it will also start flying to the Israeli city on Mondays.

"The first Air Serbia flight received an official welcome at the Ben Gurion Airport, located 20 kilometers from Tel Aviv," the company said in a statement.

"By adding Tel Aviv into its network of destinations, Air Serbia further enriched its offer, providing passengers with good connections between the Middle East and Western Europe, the US and the Balkans," it said.
