19-Year Old Boy Died After Being Infected With COVID-19

A 19-year-old died after being infected with a coronavirus. He was hospitalized in а critical condition in the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo. Doctors were unable to save him. It is alleged that the young man became infected during the prom celebrations in the old capital. The boy is also the youngest case of a person who died with the disease in our country.

New COVID-19 Hospital is Being Built in Serbia

Serbia started building a COVID-19 hospital on the site of the Rasina military complex in the central city of Krusevac, defence minister Aleksandar Vulin said.

The hospital, which will have a capacity of 500 beds, should be built within the shortest possible timeframe, Vulin said in a statement on Saturday, after a visit to the site of the future facility.

Slovenia Adds Bulgaria to the "Red List"

Slovenia has added Bulgaria to the "red list" of countries with an unstable epidemiological situation and arrivals from Bulgaria are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine, the Foreign Ministry in Sofia said.

The measure applies to citizens arriving from Bulgaria, as well as all passengers with temporary or permanent residence in Bulgaria, irrespective of their citizenship.
