Albania Eyes Gasification Via TAP Pipeline
Albania’s inter-institutional commission for cooperation with the TAP pipeline on Monday said Albpetrol had launched a bid in the first booking phase for the pipeline on May 14.
The TAP AG, the consortium that controls implementation of Trans-Adriatic Pipeline project, is expected to review the application.

The Macedonian Red Cross said that some €260,000 had been gathered through the humanitarian telephone line that is still operational as well as from tickets to humanitarian aid concerts, events and theatre plays.

The second seed produced a composed display against Chardy and used precise ground strokes and a better serving percentage to beat the Frenchman for the ninth straight time.

FIBA donates EUR 100,000 for flood victims
BELGRADE - The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has donated EUR 100,000 as aid to the flood-hit population in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
"The three Balkan nations were devastated by floods and subsequent landslides, with more than 50 people killed and tens of thousands displaced after losing their homes," FIBA said.

UN chief accepts invitation to donor conference
BELGRADE -- UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon accepted on Tuesday the invitation by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić to take part in an international donor conference.
The gathering would raise funds for Serbia which was hit by disastrous floods last week, the Serbian president's delegation told Tanjug.
