Constitutional Court certifies 1st round of president election; Ponta, Iohannis in runoff

The Constitutional Court of Romania certified on Friday the first round of the presidential elections from Nov. 2 and established that standing in the runoff will be Social Democrat Prime Minister Victor Ponta and Liberal leader Klaus Iohannis.

The second round of voting will be held on Nov. 16, the Court announced.
