BELGRADE -- The Election Commission (RIK) announced on Monday the preliminary results of elections for the National Councils of National Minorities.

The voting is most likely to be repeated at two polling stations in Tutin, southwestern Serbia, following an incident when voter lists were torn up.

BELGRADE - After a debate on amendments that lasted more than 12 hours, the Serbian parliament has adopted a budget revision and accompanying laws envisioning a reduction of public sector salaries and pensions over RSD 25,000.

Late Sunday, 188 MPs voted for the budget revision, while 10 voted against.

BELGRADE - The elections for national councils of national minorities are being held in Serbia, and voters choosing their councils in direct elections can cast their ballot at one of 881 polling stations from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
