Dacic: Slovenian support vital, Pahor: Build partnership

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said on Friday that Serbia is determined to stay firmly on the road to EU integration, and that Slovenia's support in that sense is extremely important, while Slovenian President Borut Pahor pointed to a new step forward in bilateral relations.

During the working lunch with Dacic, Pahor pointed out that the first visit by the president of Slovenia is a new step forward in bilateral relations, on which the two countries' future partnership should be built, Foreign Ministry stated in a release.

The topics addressed at the meeting included further strengthening of bilateral ties, Slovenian support to Serbia's European integration, the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations under EU auspices, regional and other current international topics.

Dacic and Pahor agreed that the continuation and promotion of political dialogue and bilateral relations is in the interest of both countries.
