Marijana Radovanovic appointed head of Privatisation Agency

BELGRADE - The Serbian government appointed on Monday Marijana Radovanovic as acting director of the Privatisation Agency, Tanjug has learned from the Justice Ministry.

Radovanovic was previously an executive director within the agency, and the government decided on Saturday to have her replace Vida Uzelac as the head of that institution.

Minister of Economy Dusan Vujovic said earlier Uzelac had filed a request for retirement.

Radovanovic is the 9th head of the agency since its creation in 2001.

Uzelac was appointed acting director of the agency in November 2013 by former minister of economy Sasa Radulovic. She came into public focus while at the head of the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House after saying that her salary was RSD 355,000.
