TAROM Airlines, in a release to AGERPRES on Thursday, informed that it is going to introduce an additional number of flights, during the 2014-2015 winter season, on four of its already existing routes.

Thus, the Bucharest-Rome-Bucharest route will have two extra flights added, reaching thus to six weekly flights.

The Bucharest-Dubai-Bucharest route will be operated three times a week instead of two times during the summer time.
Also, the airline announced it will add one more flight to the existing number of flights it operates on the Bucharest-Geneva-Bucharest, over December 20, 2014 — February 18, 2015.

Another flight will be added on the route Bucharest-Chisinau-Bucharest, which means 18 flights will be operated in total on this route during the winter time.

Moreover, besides the increased number of flights on the abovementioned routes, TAROM comes with a special offer for winter sports lovers traveling between Romania (Bucharest/Iasi/Sibiu) or Moldova (Chisinau) and London, Vienna, Nice, Munich, Sofia, Turin, Bologna, Milan (Bergamo), Geneva, allowing them to fly with an extra baggage of maximum 23-kilos — representing ski and snowboard equipment — free of charge, the general manager of the company Christian Heinzmann specified.

TAROM was founded in 1954; it has been a member of SkyTeam Alliance since June 2010, of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 1993 and of the Association of European Airlines (AEA) since 2000. AGERPRES
