Bulgaria's Dimitrov Facing Guido Pella in City Open

Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov is facing Argentina's Guido Pella later on Wednesday in the second round of Citi Open in Washington DC.

This is the first-ever game between Dimitrov and Pella. For the Bulgarian, it comes at a time when he is trying to recover after a tough season of defeats.

Dimitrov and Mardy Fish (US) on Monday secured a victory over former Wimbledon winners Jack Sock and Vasek Pospisil with 6:7 (2), 7:6 (5), 10:8.

Pella is currently No. 100 in the ATP world rankings, and Dimitrov sunk to No. 16 in July (after having been No. 10 at the same time of 2014).
