Istanbul's Avc?lar metrobus station closed due to false bomb notice

The metrobus station in Istanbul's Avc?lar district was closed due to a false bomb notice on April 17.

Police teams were dispatched to the station upon identification of a suspicious package and the station was closed by the police.

The line remained active but metrobuses did not stop at the station, to which a team of specialists was called.

After the examinations, it was understood that the suspicious object was a flask.

The station was reopened after half an hour.

This is the second time a metrobus station in Avc?lar has been closed due to a bomb threat.

A suspicious plastic bottle surrounded with ball bearings triggered panic at a metrobus station in the same district early on April 13.

Following a call, police teams were dispatched to the University Campus metrobus station in Avc?lar. Police conducted inspections in the station but did not find any threat in the area.
