Turkish warplanes hit PKK targets in Iraq: statement

Turkish warplanes struck targets of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq on April 18, the military said in a statement on April 19.

Turkish warplanes have frequently struck PKK targets since the clashes between the security forces and the militants revived, mainly hitting the group's bases in northern Iraq.
