Miss Turkey 2016 crowned

Four pageant contestants were crowned during a ceremony at the Miss Turkey 2016 Contest, organized on Sept. 28. 

Twenty girls participated in the contest, organized by the Miss Turkey Organization at a five-star hotel in the southern province of Antalya's Serik district.  

The jury members of the contest, including Can Sandıkçıoğlu, Abdullah Oğuz, Ömür Uyanık, Yasin Soy, Yaprak Yapsa and Amine Gülşe, named Buse İskenderoğlu from Bursa as the winner of Miss Turkey 2016. She will represent Turkey in the Miss World 2016 competition to take place in Washington D.C. in December.

The first runner-up was Tansu Sıla Çakır, who was crowned Miss Turkey Universe and will compete in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant expected to be held in the Philippines in January 2017. 
The second runner-up was Damla Figan, who was crowned Miss Turkey Supranational and will travel to Poland to the Miss Supranational 2016 finals on Dec. 2.

And the third runner-up was Çağla Çukurova, who was crowned Miss Turkey International and will travel to Japan in a week to participate in the Miss International contest to be held Oct. 27.
