Museum vandals caught in the act

The moment that one of two suspected vandals was arrested in the capital's National Historical Museum on Sunday was captured by a security camera. After comparing the material with footage from the Byzantine and Benaki museums, police determined that the two women were behind attacks there too. The Bulgarian suspects, aged 48 and 51, reportedly told police that, according to the Bible, daubing religious icons with oil helps overcome personal woes.
