Kosovo Serb detained over photo in social media post

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A Kosovo Serb was detained at the Bistrica Bridge near Zvecan on Wednesday morning over a social media post containing a photo showing him with an automatic rifle, the regional deputy chief of the so-called Kosovo Police told Tanjug.

He said the man's Leposavic home had been searched to determine if the rifle shown in the photo was in his possession, but that no weapons had been found.

The police official was unable to confirm if the man had been released after giving a statement or placed under police detention.
