Ukraine renews military aid request

Amid a new Russian offensive on various fronts in Ukraine, Athens is examining a list of old and newer requests from Kyiv for military aid from the reserves of the Hellenic Armed Forces. 

Greece has committed to continue providing assistance to Kyiv, as long as it does not adversely impact the deterrent power of the Hellenic Armed Forces. In other words, it won't provide anti-aircraft systems before they are replaced by new ones.

The new Ukrainian requests are addressed to all NATO partners providing material support to Kyiv. The requests concerning Greece include missiles and rockets for anti-aircraft systems, Patriot and S-300 systems, spare parts for F-16 fighters and the F-16s themselves if possible, RM-70 rocket launchers, engineer equipment, Harpoon anti-ship systems, artillery projectiles (155, 152, 122 and 102 mm caliber), and mortar and tank missiles (125,...
