Actress acquitted of insulting Turkish president
A Turkish actress has been acquitted of insulting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on Twitter, daily Hürriyet has reported when Erdo?an was Turkey's prime minister two years ago.
Gonca Vuslateri was tried over a tweet posted in 2013 when Erdo?an was prime minister, but was acquitted of "insulting" after a court on Feb. 2 dropped the charges.
Bulgarian MPs Approve Participation of Allied Aircraft in Joint Air Policing Missions
The Bulgarian parliament approved on Friday amendments to the Defence and Armed Forces Act allowing the participation of allied countries in missions on guarding the country's airspace.
A total of 96 MPs voted in favour of the joint air policing missions, 34 were against, while thirteen lawmakers abstained.
