City on Water project to be presented on Friday

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and investor from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed Al Abbar will present the master plan for the City on Water project on Friday, the Tuesday edition of the Belgrade-based daily Politika states.

The daily said that this is the first release of the project details, three months after the City on Water premiere at the International Real Estate Fair in Cannes.

The Arab partner Eagle Hills will invest USD 3.1 billion in the transformation of the right bank of the Sava River and it will build housing and commercial facilities on some 2 million square metres.

The beginning of works has been announced for spring 2015 and the 120-metre tower and shopping mall will be the first facilities to be constructed in the Sava Amphitheathre.
