Pajtic attends PES Presidency session

BELGRADE - Leader of the Democratic Party (DS) Bojan Pajtic participated in the Party of European Socialists (PES) presidency session on Thursday and visited the European Parliament within his two-day stay in Brussels.

According to the DS release, during his Pajtic met with MEPs interested in the situation in Serbia and the country's progress on its EU path.

The meeting also covered the initiation of Serbia's EU accession talks, situation regarding democratic freedoms in Serbia and joint future initiative which DS can propose to its European partners concerning the fulfilment of criteria for Serbia's EU accession.

Pajtic also met with rapporteur of the social democratic caucus Tanja Fajon, rapporteur of the liberal caucus Ivo Vajgl, Chair of the Sugb-Committee on Human Rights Elena Valenciano Martinez-Orozco and deputy whip of the social democratic caucus Victor Bostinaru, the release states.
