Athens and life in it through lens of Milos Bicanski

NOVI SAD - A photo exhibition by Milos Bicanski dubbed "When they kick at your front door, how you gonna come?" will be opened in the Youth Forum of the Cultural Center of Novi Sad on Friday.

The artist spent much of the last few years wandering the streets of Athens and small towns and villages, looking for moments that illustrate reasons why the Greeks are losing faith in the recovery after the crisis years.

Born in Belgrade, Bicanski began his career covering the tumultuous events surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia for Serbian magazines and newspapers.

Milos was an associate of the European Press Photo Agency in late 1990s and Getty Images Today, and his work has been featured in world famous magazines, such as TIME, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Guardian, and Paris Match.

The exhibition will be open until May 5.
