Defence Minister Fifor, British Ambassador Brummell discuss bilateral ties, cooperation under NATO aegis

Minister of National Defence Mihai Fifor met on Wednesday with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Romania Paul Brummell, with the agenda of the talks including topical subjects related to cooperation at bilateral level and under the auspices of the North-Atlantic Alliance, a release informs.

"Minister Fifor voiced appreciation for UK's contribution in Romania as regards the constant military presence in all areas of warfare- land, sea and air - highlighting the inter-allied support with a view to implementing NATO's presence in the Black Sea region," the release said.

The two officials also exchanged opinions on concrete ways to intensify Romania - UK cooperation under the NATO aegis and at bilateral level, to the benefit of the two states' military forces.
