Construction of VGP industrial park begins in suburban Belgrade

BELGRADE - Construction works to build a VGP industrial park began at Dobanovci, suburban Belgrade, on Monday.

A ceremony that marked the start of works was also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who previously had a brief meeting with representatives of VGP, a pan-European company that owns, operates and builds real estate properties in the logistics and semi-industrial manufacturing sectors.

The ceremony was also attended by Serbian government ministers Tomislav Momirovic and Goran Vesic, Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Sapic, Belgrade chief architect Marko Stojcic, Delhaize Serbia CEO Jan-Willem Dockheer, VGP CEO Jan Van Geet and VGP Serbia Country Manager Nenad Bjelogrlic.

The 1 million-plus sq m VGP Park Belgrade will be situated near the M70 and M75 motorways and the Nikola Tesla International Airport and just 15 km west of the Belgrade city...
