Dacic receives Cypriot parliamentary delegation

BELGRADE - Serbia attaches great significance to its relations with Cyprus, which are based on firm friendship, mutual trust and historically proven closeness and solidarity between the two peoples, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said at a meeting with a delegation of Cyprus's House of Representatives on Thursday.

The delegation was headed by the chairman of the committee on foreign and European affairs Harris Georgiades, who also chairs a Cyprus-Serbia friendship group.

The parties confirmed the firm and principled positions on support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia and Cyprus, as well as full and unreserved support to achieving the key foreign policy priorities of the two states, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
