Preparations for joint session of Serbia, RS govts
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred with Republika Srpska (RS) Minister of Labour and Veteran Affairs Petar Djokic on Wednesday, and during the meeting, they discussed the preparations for the forthcoming joint session of the two governments due to take place in Belgrade on September 20.
Power supply in north Kosovo remains in Serb hands
BELGRADE- The agreement signed between Belgrade and Pristina on Tuesday keeps the power supply in northern Kosovo in the hands of the Serb community there, Serbia's liaison officer in Pristina Dejan Pavicevic said on Wednesday.
The agreement will last only if both sides implement it, and suitable guarantees have been secured to that end, Pavicevic said in awritten statement.
Agreement on freedom of movement covers Belgrade airport
BELGRADE - Belgrade and Pristina working groups have agreed to expand the freedom of movement agreement to cover the Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla and a number of border crossings, including those leading to Bulgaria and Macedonia, head of the Serbian government office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said on Wednesday.

BELGRADE -- Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić conferred on Wednesday in Belgrade with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksei Meshkov.
During the meeting Vučić stated that Serbia will continue to support the search for a peaceful solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
51st International Convention of Writers opens
BELGRADE - The 51st International Convention of Writers, to be held until September 22, was ceremonially opened at the National Library of Serbia on Wednesday.
Association of Serbian Writers (UKS) President Radomir Andric - Roko opened the event, welcoming the international participants, as well as those from Serbia, Kosovo-Metohija and Republika Srpska.
