BELGRADE - Vladimir Maric has been appointed as Serbia's new ambassador to India, reads the latest issue of Serbia's Official Gazette.

The decree on Maric's appointment has been delivered by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Vladimir Maric was chief of staff to former Serbian foreign minister Ivan Mrkic.
