Vulin signs agreement on donation for vulnerable in KiM

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Serbia's Minister without Portfolio in charge of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Aleksandar Vulin said in Kosovska Mitrovica that KiM will always be a priority for the Serbian government and all its bodies, and that Serbia will not cease to care for its people in Kosovo.

Vulin has signed an agreement on humanitarian donation for the socially threatened population in KiM with the head of the North Banat administrative district in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Vladimir Ilic, and Acting Director of the Inter-municipal Center for Social Work in Kosovska Mitrovica Dejan Djinovic.

The donation consists of 4 tons of food and the humanitarian action will continue after the elections, Vulin said.

He thanked the donors and the Serbian government for not ceasing to give and to care for its people in KiM.

Vladimir Ilic said that a donation of RSD 500,000 will be given by the six municipalities of North Banat - Kanjiza, Senta, Ada, Coka, Novi Knezevac and Kikinda.

Kosovska Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakic said that this action is evidence of the presence of the Republic of Serbia in this region.

Djinovic expressed his gratitude to the donors and the hope that in the future, the people in KiM will have less need for donations and that they will be able to live from their work.
