Jeremic meets Sergei Lavrov in Moscow

MOSCOW - Vuk Jeremic, president of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD), has been on an official visit to Russia on Monday, where he conferred with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Centre issued a release.

Jeremic and Lavrov exchanged opinions on the pressing international issues, including the crisis in Ukraine and situation in the Middle East.

Jeremic, who is heading the CIRSD delegation, presented the center's program to Lavrov and informed him about the program of international conferences and studies in which the CIRSD will engage in 2014.

During the stay in Moscow, the CIRSD delegation will meet the rector of the MGIMO University, senior officials at the Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund in Moscow, and discuss the prospects for establishing institutional cooperation with the CIRSD, and possibilities for developing joint projects, the release notes.
