Belgrade police parades through Knez Mihailova Street

BELGRADE - Belgrade police paraded through the Knez Mihailova Street on Saturday on the occasion of the Day of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Day.

The parade included members of the traffic and criminal police, firemen-rescuers, the rescue team of the Serbian Interior Ministry, officers with dogs and members of the Cavalry Brigade.

A ceremony will be held at the Sava Center on Saturday evening marking these holidays.

Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and his associates will lay a wreath on Sunday at the memorial to Jakov Nenadovic, one of the leaders of the First Serbian Uprising and the minister of internal affairs of Serbia at the beginning of the 19th century.

Police Director Milorad Veljovic will lay a wreath at Cukur Fountain.
