Serbia and China sign 13 agreements and memorandums

BELGRADE - Delegations of Serbia and China have signed 13 agreements and memorandums regarding infrastructure, transport, finances, agriculture and telecommunications.

The agreement on economic and technical cooperation between the two governments was signed on Wednesday by National Bank of Serbia Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and China Development Bank head Hu Huaibang.

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Hu signed a memorandum of understanding on financial cooperation between the Serbian government and the China Development Bank.

An agreement on establishing air traffic between Serbia and China was also signed.

Officials of the two countries signed an agreement on a loan for the second stage of the thermal power station Kostolac B project and a memorandum on starting a feasibility study on the construction of an industrial park.

A memorandum of understanding about cooperation on a project referring to a part of the ring road around Belgrade, Bubanj potok and Vinca between the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the company Cynohydro was signed.

The Ministry of construction, Transport and Infrastructure and Exim Bank signed a memorandum of understanding on financing, while the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications signed a partnership memorandum of understanding with the ZTI corporation.

The Ministry of Interior signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei and the city of Belgrade signed a memorandum of understanding with Exim Bank.
