Izetbegovic expects to meet Vucic in May

SARAJEVO - Bosniak member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina three-person presidency Bakir Izetbegovic has said that he expects to meet Serbia's Prime Minsiter Aleksandar Vucic in Sarajevo in May, and also a visit from Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic soon.

In an interview for TV N1, Izetbegovic was asked whom he had better relations with, Nikolic of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, and he replied that he could not respond to that properly since Grabar Kitarovic had assumed office very recently.

Bosnia-Herzegovina has closer relations with Croatia and work is needed to make the relations with Serbia the same, he stated.

Izetbegovic expects to meet Vucic in May as part of the Sarajevo Business Forum. "We will work on making the relations with Serbia as goo das the ones with Croatia," he added.

The relations in the region have started to move towards normal after a long silence, and talks of regional cooperation have also started, following several trilateral meetings.
