Vucic meets with Johnson

NEW YORK - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic spoke with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in New York late Tuesday.

Johnson said Serbia was a key country in the Western Balkans and that stability in the region would be one of the priorities of the UK's foreign policy.

Vucic and Johnson discussed bilateral relations, the situation in the Western Balkan region and the UK's support for Serbia's European path, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

Serbia believes in sincere friendship with the UK, with which it will next year mark 180 years of diplomatic relations, Vucic noted.

Vucic briefed Johnson on the economic reforms undertaken by the Serbian government over the past two years, noting the significance of a larger presence of British investors in the Serbian market.

Johnson accepted Vucic's invitation to visit Serbia....
