Dacic, Singh discuss bilateral cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic has met with Indian Minister of State Jitendra Singh to discuss bilateral cooperation and economic ties, in particular.

At Thursday's meeting, Dacic stressed that the visit of the Indian Minister of State represents a confirmation of the very good relations between two countries and the will to strengthen traditional ties that are characterized by openness, mutual respect and traditional friendship based on the Non-Aligned Movement, a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In a cordial and friendly conversation, a mutual interest in improving all forms of cooperation, especially economic ties, was expressed.

Dacic stressed that Serbia highly values India's principled position on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, as well as its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
