Vučić, Schroeder to open Serbia-Germany Forum

BELGRADE -- Deputy PM Aleksandar Vučić will meet with former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder in Belgrade on Thursday.

The meeting will mark the initiation of operation of the Serbia-Germany Forum, the Forum announced on Monday.

Vučić, Schroeder meet to discuss setting up of Serbia-Germany Forum

Deputy PM Aleksandar Vučić will meet with former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder in Belgrade on Thursday.

The meeting will mark the initiation of operation of the Serbia-Germany Forum, the Forum announced on Monday.

According to announcements, Vučić - leader of the ruling SNS party and Serbia's future prime minister - as the honorary guest of the Forum and Schroeder as the Forum guest "will discuss deepening of bilateral cooperation and improvement of Serbia-Germany relations."

The newly-founded forum will focus on the perspectives of economic and political cooperation between the two countries.

Schroeder currently holds office as the Chairman of the Board of Shareholders in the Nord Stream AG which owns the Nord Stream.

As of 2006, he has been active in the Rothschild Group as the advisor for operation in Eastern Europe, Russia, China and Turkey.
