Dacic: Chinese FM expected to visit Serbia in mid-May

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic has announced his Chinese counterpart would visit Belgrade in the coming days.

"We have discussed this and, barring any changes made during the holidays, in the days to come - as early as in mid-May, most likely on May 12-13 - the Chinese FM will come to Serbia," Dacic told the RTS on Tuesday evening, noting that the visit would be "one of the most significant things at this time."

He added that Serbia must not lose a UN majority that backed it on the issue of territorial integrity or the support of veto-wielding nations in the UN Security Council.

That is something Serbia must work on while trying to stay on its European path as much as possible, Dacic said.
