Longest tunnel on Corridor 10 to be completed March 2016

BELGRADE/ VLADICIN HAN - The longest tunnel on Corridor 10 through Serbia Manjale is being built near Vladicin Han, southern Serbia, and the completion of the works is expected in March 2016, Tanjug was told at Koridori Srbije company.

The tunnel is 18 kilometer long, and Bulgarian consortium Alliance X is engaged in its construction.

10th Nordic Panorama to open in Belgrade February 21- 25

BELGRADE - The 10th Nordic Panorama Film Festival will be held in Belgrade and several other cities in Serbia from February 21 to 25.

The Nordic Panorama is an international film festival presenting the annual production of best short, documentary and animated films from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland.

Vojvodina ranks first in effectiveness of foreign investment

NOVI SAD - According to the assessment of The Financial Times, Vojvodina ranks first among 54 mid-sized regions in effectiveness of foreign investments, and fourth among all European regions and cities in relation to the same criteria, Bojan Pajtic, president of the Vojvodina government, has said.

Citizens to vote at 8,262 polling stations in Serbia

BELGRADE - Citizens will cast their ballot at 8,262 polling stations, including those in penal institutions, in the territory of Serbia during early parliamentary elections that will be held on March 16, the state electoral commission (RIK) decided on Tuesday.

Polling stations in Kosovo-Metohija and the ones abroad have not been included in this number.
