Ivica Petrovic led ‘Balkan Warrior’ and ended in Obrenovac Degraded after revealing Saric

Ivica Petrovic, former BIA deputy chief was appointed the BIA agent in Obrenovac a few days before the arrest of Darko Saric.

During the ‘Sward’ police action he participated in revealing the Jotka’s clan from Krusevac and arrest of Ljubomir Vuckovic, the Supreme Court judge. At the time when Dragan Jocic was the police minister, Petrovic was appointed chief-off-Staff of the UBPOK Intelligence Department. His next promotion was the post of the chief-of-staff of the Intelligence Service and an undercover investigator.

In 2008 Petrovic was appointed the BIA deputy chief. As the second man of the BIA Petrovic was in charge of all operational activities by the Agency on locating Radovan Karadzic, Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic, but also of the most important BIA action – ‘Balkan Worrier’.
