Vucic Poorest PM in Balkans, Djukanovic Richest

Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's Prime Minister, has the lowest salary and least properties out of all the leaders of the Western Balkan region.

In his property report, Vucic revealed that he receives a monthly salary of only €1,000 and owns 30m2 apartment. He does not own a car, or have any savings, apparently.

Milo Djukanovic, his counterpart in Montenegro, seems to be the wealthiest Prime Minister in the Balkans, despite running the smallest and least populated country.

Djukanovic receives a monthly salary of €1,130, but owns a 187m2 apartment, another 170m2 in different real estates and about 1,400m2 of land. Djukanovic also owns shares in the companies Capital Invest, Univerzitats and Global Montenegro.

Milanovic receives €2,600 a month, while Bratusek’s salary is €4,700. Bratusek seem also proportionally wealthier than the Zagreb politician.

While Milanovic owns a 127m2 apartment, he has neither car nor savings. Bratusek, on the other hand, drives a Mercedes, owns a 187m2 apartment, 366m2 of land and around 1,000m2 in orchards.
