Petkovic informs Lajcak of Kurti's violent moves

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Friday an entry into the Leposavic municipal building by a minister of the Pristina interim authorities was a fresh provocation and that he had informed the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, of Pristina's intent to also get ethnic Albanian assembly members into the building by force.

In a Twitter post, Petkovic said Pristina's PM Albin Kurti was attempting to take control of the north Kosovo municipality by force and that it was clear he wanted a new crisis.

"I have informed Lajcak immediately of these violent attempts by Kurti. Instead of withdrawing the false mayor from the building, Kurti wants to get false assembly members inside, too. It is clear that he wants a new crisis! That is not going to work for him," Petkovic wrote in the...
