Vucic to head coordination body for fight against corruption

BELGRADE - The Serbian government decided on Thursday to set up a coordination body for implementing the national anti-corruption strategy by 2018, which will be headed by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Members of the body are also Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic and Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic and representative of the anti-corruption council, the government's press office stated in a release.

The Serbian government adopted a bill amending the law on high judicial council and a bill amending the law on state prosecutorial council.

The proposed bills will raise the responsibility and transparency in work, improve the electoral process and lead to considerable savings.
