Gov't adopts reconstruction programme for health care sector

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted at Thursday's session a state reconstruction programme for the health care sector, which includes measures and time frames for rebuilding the health care facilities damaged in last year's floods.

The floods and landslides damaged 36 health care facilities in Serbia, and the rebuilding will ensure normal operation of the health care sector in the regions affected.

The government earmarked RSD 160 million for the reconstruction, the government's press office said in a statement.

The Serbian government ordered the Construction Directorate of Serbia to settle issues with owners of flats in the Dr Ivan Ribar residential district, which has been affected by organic pollution, in order to solve the problem as soon as possible.

The government also adopted a decree on provisional funding for the Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Television of Vojvodina public media services in 2015.
