Knezevic: FDIs exceeded 1.9 bln euros in 2016

BELGRADE - Foreign direct investments in Serbia exceeded 1.9 bln euros last year, Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic said Thursday, adding the government would back investments even more intensively, not only through continuing the policy of subsidies, but by ensuring a safe business environment.

Global brands such as Leoni, Johnson Electrics, Delphi, Kromberg & Schubert, and many others, have chosen Serbia as the country to expand their operations in, he said.
