Vucic: Meeting with Lajcak addressed ways to de-escalate tensions in Kosovo-Meto

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday discussed with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, ways to de-escalate tensions on the ground and implementation of agreements reached to date.

"I once again warned that Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija are subjected to the toughest torture and persecution in the last 15 years, and reiterated the requests that their rights and safety be respected," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account after the meeting with Lajcak, held in Belgrade.

"I called on the international community to engage in a more concrete manner on all those issues," he added.
