Report: Next intergovernmental conference on June 27

BELGRADE -- The next Serbia-EU intergovernmental conference will probably be held on the margins of the next meeting of the European Council, a Belgrade daily reported.

According to the Večernje Novosti newspaper, the meeting would see top Serbian and EU officials would discuss further steps in the accession talks.

According to the daily, by this time the exact order and timing of opening of chapters will be known, as well as the contents of Chapter 35 which covers normalization of the Belgrade-Priština relations.

The first Serbia-EU intergovernmental conference was held in Brussels on January 21 when Serbia's accession talks with the EU officially began.
