Djuric: Community of Serb Municipalities a key issue

BRUSSELS - Establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities is among the key issues raised by Belgrade's delegation with EU representatives in Brussels, Marko Djuric, head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, said Tuesday.

Although it has committed itself to this at the top political level, Pristina is still unwilling to discuss the topic, he said.

"We are repeating to EU representatives here - whom we see as primarily responsible for implementation of all agreements - that the fact that the Community of Serb Municipalities is not only not talked about in public, but that some communities reaching beyond the borders of our country that are not the Community of Serb Municipalities are talked about is not conducive to a climate of normalising relations or easing tensions in the region."
