"War criminals have no place in Kosovo government"

The embassy also expressed concern over the appointment of those who have been convicted of other serious criminal offenses, as well as the recruitment of persons without proper qualifications to positions in the executive branch.

According to Albanian language newspaper Gazeta Express, the US ambassador said earlier that those convicted of war crimes have no place in the Kosovo government, and that individuals in high positions should be qualified for the job and have adequate high education.
Unfortunately, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's stance in this regard is opposite, writes the daily.
