Students from 10 countries compete at FON

BELGRADE - Belgrade Business International Case Competition - BBICC, an international student competition bringing together university teams from ten countries around the world, started on Wednesday at the Belgrade Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) and is scheduled to last through April 6.

The aim of the competition is to place students in the position of top managers who have to make strategic business decisions in the fields of management, marketing, sales, finance and international business.

The participants of this year's BBICC are university teams from Canada, U.S.A., Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Denmark, Portugal, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as the team of the Belgrade University.

Managing director at BBICC Vesna Damnjanovic underlined the contribution of competitions of this kind to the promotion of knowledge and to establishing connections with the leading companies.

Slobodan Stupar, Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, greeted the students and wished them success in the competition.

BBICC is being held in Belgrade for the second time, and the students of FON have so far achieved excellent results in international business case study competitions.

During their six-day stay in Belgrade, the participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the Serbian tradition, music and customs, the organizers say.
