Vucic and Kirby discuss Serbia's EU path

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conferred on Tuesday with U.S. Ambassador Michael Kirby on a series of issues, especially those connected to Serbia's EU path.

Commenting on the opening of Chapter 35 (which covers the Kosovo issue), Vucic underscored that he hopes the Kosovo government would be constituted soon so that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could continue.

The talks between Kirby and Vucic were open, comprehensive and friendly and lasted over 90 minutes, the Serbian government for cooperation with the media released.

The officials exchanged views on key political, security, economic and all other issues of mutual interest for the U.S. and the Republic of Serbia.
