Stoltenberg: No Kosovo army without minorities' consent

BRUSSELS/BELGRADE - The Kosovo Security Force will not be transformed into a Kosovo army without consent of the representatives of ethnic minorities in Kosovo, says NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.

It is very important that the transformation be carried out pursuant to all rules and the constitution, Stoltenberg told Belgrade's Blic daily.

Stoltenberg: I absolutely respect Serbia's neutrality

BRUSSELS - NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in Brussels Wednesday he absolutely respected Serbia's military neutrality and that he expected the alliance's good partnership with Belgrade to continue under the new Serbian government of Ana Brnabic.

Speaking to reporters from Serbia, Stoltenberg said he believed the country was also capable of maintaining its integrity in its relations with the Russian Federation.
